International Exchange
Young Persons company is our Production group that participate in international projects allowing our young participants to work with their peers in countries such as Norway, Germany and America and giving them an experience they will never forget.
Auditions are held on a project to project basis and are open to members of our Young Peoples Theatre Programme.
Previous exchange projects have led to performances at the Bürgerfest festival in Regensburg 2009, 2010 and 2011; Aberdeen International Youth Festival and Culture Crush, celebrating the launch of the cultural Olympiad. Whilst being great fun for those who attend, the trips offer valuable educational insight and are a window into cultures of other countries.

"I learned about the culture and the differences between teenagers in different countries. Many things are the same, but still there's things that are not" - Paal Herman, 16 Regensburg
“In just those two weeks, I grew as an actor, made lifelong friends, and was exposed to people, arts, and cultures I would never have learned about otherwise,”- Meg Nakamura, San Francisco
"Meeting people from different countries sort of widens your eyes a bit to how things really are and draws a line between the stereotypes" - Matthew, 16, Aberdeen
