The fans are in for a real treat of Sixties and Seventies psychedelia, progressive rock and some of the greatest tracks ever released by Pink Floyd. All supported by the obligatory lights and lasers bonanza.
In 1973 Pink Floyd released "The Dark Side of the Moon". From the opening heartbeat, to the iconic album cover, this has become one of the most successful rock albums of all times. In 2013, to celebrate its 40th anniversary, Mac Floyd will perform this quintessential Floyd classic in its entirety. "Time", "Money", "The Great Gig in the Sky", and "Eclipse" are all featured in this evocative set.
The rest of the set will feature a selection of Floyd tracks from albums such as Meddle, Wish you were here, The Wall and The Division Bell. In a show lasting over two hours you will witness a level of musicianship that is second to none ensuring MacFloyd’s position as arguably the best Pink Floyd cover band in the UK. The fans are in for the usual display of 70’s psychedelia, lasers and special effects.
Along with an improved light show, the band take great pride in performing all the Floyd numbers with accuracy and detail thanks to a talented line up including up to 3 different lead/backing vocalists and guitarists performing with great passion. Only this way MacFloyd are able to perform every single detail in Pink Floyd’s music completely live!
MacFloyd will take you on a journey which promises to transport you back to those spectacular times if only for a night. Don’t miss it!
