An Evening of Jazz and Film Music

I have seen a preview of some of the acts recently and you will be in for a treat. I gather there will be a lot of film music including Disney's The Incredibles and lots of other favourites of the last Stewart Gilmour. Stewart was a popular Deputy Head of St Machar Academy who sadly died in June 2008, 4 days after being diagnosed with cancer. He leaves his wife Kay and 5 children. Kay will be singing along with her 17 year old daughter Bethany.

Bethany was a contestant on last year's X Factor and got to the bootcamp stage of the competition.

This should prove to be a top quality evening headline by the remowned trumpeter, Ryan Quigly.

Aberdeen Jazz Orchestra are a top quality ensemble along with Granite City Brass. Stewart played with both and is sadly missed by all his colleagues.
