blurb
All children, except one, grow up.
In 2010 the National Theatre of Scotland brings Peter Pan home, presenting a brand new version, especially for families, of one of the most influential and magical stories ever told by a Scottish writer, in what will be 150th anniversary of the birth of JM Barrie.
Directed by the National Theatre of Scotland’s own Olivier Award-winning John Tiffany and written by multi award-winning Scottish playwright David Greig (Midsummer, Yellow Moon) this Peter Pan reimagines the Darling family in Victorian Edinburgh with all its mists, gas-lamps, bridges and mystery.
Peter’s impish arrival into the lives of Wendy, John and Michael is the beginning of a thrilling, deliciously naughty, eerie escapade. Together they take off on a fantastical flight to the colourful wonderful
Razor-sharp sword fights, virtuoso flying sequences, acrobats, fire-eaters, ticking crocodiles and one great big hook will ensure the whole family is drawn into this other-worldly distinctly Caledonian adventure.
Join us as we bring Peter Pan home in 2010.

Peter Pan (National Theatre of Scotland)
We had a brilliant works night out at HMT. Starting at the foyee for a great meal and then rolling in the ailes at Peter Pan. Maggie and Smee had us in stiches with all their banter especially their scenes with the splendid Hook. The Ken, Ken and the Honey Bee scenes were hilarious. I think Maggie must have had a fashion guru helping her with some of those stunning outfits. Superb performances by all the rest of the cast but special mention must also go to Tink and the Croc. A big thumbs up also for the musical score and amazing set which transported us to neverland and allowed us adults to be like Peter and not be grown up for at least 2 hours! Well done to everybody involved for providing a superb nights entertainment for all ages.
See you next year

I went to the afternoon show on saturday and was really pleased with the show. The cook and her son smee was the funniest i have ever seen the charcters who played them were simply comic geniuses. The show as a whole was fun, brilliant and well played by all the charcters. Will book as soon as i can for next years pantomime.

Peter Pan (National Theatre of Scotland)
A fantastic adaptation of JM Barrie's classic Peter Pan. I went to see the show several weeks back and had the time of my life. The whole cast shined in their various roles and there were many laughs to be had. My congratulations go out to all of the cast and crew who brought the production to life, well done!
