An Hour To Sing For Your Soul
“Sickeningly talented young show stealer” Evening Times
“Just naturally very, very funny. Let’s just call his talent frightening” The Scotsman
“Hilarious observations. One of the hottest properties on the stand up scene” Edinburgh Evening News
Kevin Bridges, Scotland's 'young comedy prodigy' (Guardian) made his Edinburgh Fringe debut at the Pleasance this year with his hotly anticipated show An Hour To Sing For Your Soul.
Kevin’s recent stand out performance on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC ONE) has highlighted an exceptional 12 months for the young Glaswegian comic. With his debut show, An Hour To Sing For Your Soul, audiences are drawn into Kevin’s world where he reveals his inner-most thoughts on variety of topics
from his home-land of Scotland to the world beyond. His unique brand of social commentary, astute observations and sharp one-liners made him one of the festival’s hottest debut comedy acts this August.
Kevin had not set foot in a comedy club before his first open mic spot in 2004. Now aged just 22, Kevin’s natural gift for comedy has made him a regular at major comedy clubs up and down the country including The Comedy Store, The Glee Club, and Jongleurs. His critically acclaimed debut solo show at the Glasgow
International Comedy Festival has led him to become a festival favourite selling out consecutive shows for the past three years.
As well as an outstanding appearance on the first episode of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC ONE) this June, his other television credits include: The Comedy Store (Paramount Comedy), The World Stands Up (Paramount Comedy) and the Frankie Boyle Show (Pilot, BBC TV). His work on the radio includes BBC Radio 4 live at the Fringe (BBC Radio 4), Serious About Comedy (BBC Radio 7), The Fred Macaulay Show (BBC Radio Scotland) and Off The Ball (BBC Radio Scotland)
Be sure to make time for one of the UK’s rising stars, his explosive talent is bound to make waves this year.
