Live music by Rambert Orchestra
Following the universal successes of Constant Speed (2005) and Eternal Light (2008), Artistic Director Mark Baldwin creates a brand new work that will tantalise the senses and stimulate the mind. Commemorating Charles Darwin year, Comedy of Change* is set to a specially commissioned score by renowned British composer Julian Anderson with production design by Kader Attia, one of Paris’ leading lights of contemporary art. It skilfully blends dance and science into a stunning, energetic and striking performance.
The programme also includes Hush, a light-hearted and affectionate look at family life by icon of British dance Christopher Bruce and brand new revival of Siobhan Davies’ The Art of Touch.
Rambert’s 22 dancers are among the finest and most versatile in the world with uplifting live music superbly enhancing the experience.
